The Role
My client is looking for someone who has the technical knowledge, competence and capability to handle the mechanical engineering activities of plant and equipment which must operate continuously 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without downtime.
Candidates must have previous experience with planned preventive maintenance systems and materials handling equipment (conveying systems, loading/unloading and mobile plant).
The role will involve the design and implementation of installations, modifications to existing plant and equipment and continuous improvement projects.
Providing operations support, troubleshooting and problem solving are essential features of the role.
Hours & Days:
24/7 rotating shift pattern
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a mature and well-organised work attitude paired with a hands-on approach to problem solving, proven decision-making skills and a strong desire to succeed.
You must be educated to Degree/BTEC HND level in Mechanical Engineering and be able to work in parallel disciplines where appropriate.
