Our client is one of the UK’s leading Finance companies and are looking for Customer Service Advisors to join their Credit Management department based in Skipton.
The Skipton branch carries out all activities including inbound customer contact, outbound customer contact, litigation, possessions and customer and third party correspondence.
Main Duties:
• Speak to customers who have missed mortgage payments with a view to securing immediate repayment of, or long term commitment to repay the arrears.
• Confidently negotiate for increased repayment offers.
• Handle customer’s excuses and objections.
• Use a dialler to maximise customer contact.
• Proactive outbound collections activity.
• Deal with written correspondence from various parties.
• Negotiate and agree payment arrangements with customers facing court proceedings or eviction from their home.
• Litigation and possessions work closely with clients, solicitors and asset managers throughout the repossession process.
• Following possession assist with marketing the property and shortfall debt recovery action.
The successful candidate must:

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), to include Maths and English are necessary.
The credit management department have a salary structure which includes four collector levels from foundation to advanced. The salary bands range from £12k - £14k depending upon experience with a six month salary increase based on performance against objectives. There is also various shift patterns available.
