It is one of the leading providers of fixed odds bookmaking services, offering odds and taking bets on a wide range of sporting and other events as well as offering amusement with prizes machines and fixed odds betting terminals in licensed betting offices and operating online casino and poker sites, an interactive TV channel and greyhound stadia.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Supervisor to join their Central Security department based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The main purpose of this role is to manage the administration service within the department ensuring that an effective and professional service is provided. Within this role, you will take responsibility for three administrative assistants, supervising and deploying, managing performance, coaching, ensuring training is issued as required, managing attendance and ensuring action is taken where appropriate with regards to timekeeping, sickness absence and annual leave. You will also be expected to provide administrative support for managers and supervisors including letters, memorandums, reports etc, organise travel arrangements on behalf of Security Managers, liaising with suppliers regarding payment of items and maintaining a central record of security hardware in each licensed betting office.

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a similar role previously. Experience of supervising staff is advantageous but is not essential. You will be educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent in English and Maths, and you will have experience of using a wide range of PC packages. You will have excellent excel spreadsheet skills to include devising and formatting graphs/charts. You must have strong administration experience, good organisational skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels. It is essential that you are a forward thinking and hard working individual with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box. It is important that you are polite and friendly and can remain calm and positive even when under pressure. You will have a smart, professional appearance and will adopt a positive and proactive approach to work.
