Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Administrator to join their team based in Stainland, Halifax. The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the commercial team together with developing the loose collection business. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, your main responsibilities will include providing a confidential administrative service and support to the Commercial Manager and team, ordering recovered fibre on a weekly basis and coordinating, collating and analysing European Recovered Fibre purchasing data. You will also be expected to develop new source customers and deliveries and follow up on both new and existing customers providing after sales service and account management.
The successful candidate will have worked in an administrative role previously and will be educated to A level standard or equivalent, ideally in English and Maths / Business Studies. It is essential that you are hardworking and dedicated and possess the ability to motivate yourself and achieve results. You must be able to work as part of a team but also alone with little or no supervision. You will be confident when using a computer with advanced skills in MS Word and Excel. A born communicator both written and verbal, you will be confident when dealing with people at all levels, by telephone, email or in a face to face situation.
