Housing Services Advisor
Part Time – 35 hours over two weeks
(9am-5pm, Thursday, Friday and Alternate Wednesdays)

Our client is an organisation passionate about homes, communities and cultures. They work as a Registered Social Landlord operating on a not-for-profit basis under charitable rules.

They currently have an opportunity for a Housing Services Advisor to join their Huddersfield Lettings team. An excellent communicator and proactive worker, you will provide a responsive customer orientated service to tenants, applicants and others using the Association’s services. You will be the first point of contact for the Service Development and Neighbourhood & Community Services Directorates, assisting tenants with a range of general enquiries and liaising with other staff members as required. You will provide accurate and timely information regarding rent accounts and payments, neighbour nuisance and anti social behaviour, formal complaints procedure. With a helpful attitude and approachable manner, you will also take reports of complaints both over the phone and in person, explaining the appropriate procedure and always maintaining a high level of customer service.

An all round team player, you will update computerised records, inputting new data and amending details, as well completing administrative and clerical duties as and when required, ultimately ensuring a smooth and efficient service at all times.

They are looking for a motivated individual who remains calm and patient when working under pressure. With experience of working in a high profile or busy customer service environment, the successful candidate will possess operational knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook and Word. With an understanding of issues surrounding equality, you will also need administration experience.
