Goods In Team Leader

£18,000 to £21,000
This is a permanent opportunity for someone with extensive experience in distribution, particularly within Goods In and Inventory Audits, as you will be responsible for ensuring goods are received in an efficient and effective manner and that replenishment and inventory processes are carried out as required.
Specific duties will include:
- Managing and developing the replenishment and inventory operations
- Developing staff to achieve maximum potential
- Ensuring product is put away, picked and dispatched efficiently
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and developing performance measures when required
- Delivering increases in efficiency, productivity and contributing to cost reduction programmes
Essential Skills
- People management and coaching skills
- IT skills particularly MS Word & Excel
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse Health and Safety requirements
- Methodical & analytical approach
