Training Advisor / Assessor / NVQ
North Yorkshire (Based ideally in Northallerton but Harrogate or Scarborough base also considered)
Salary £18,311.18 - £19,920.03
Our client is one of the UK’s largest training organisations, working with individuals, organisations and local communities from over 50 locations throughout the country for nearly 30 years. They are now offering Pathways to Work provision across the North Yorkshire area to help adults equip themselves with the tools for their successful return to a future career path.
With this in mind, our client is currently looking for two self motivated individuals to support them in these new challenging, exciting and rewarding roles. Participants on the Pathways to Work programme may often require support in Skills for Life (SFL) that includes literacy, numeracy and ICT skills in addition to supporting participants to address a variety of personal and social barriers that may be preventing a sustainable return into the world of work. You will be required to work with these individuals through delivery of motivational programmes, SFL support and supporting work experience programmes. Knowledge of the delivery of training and embedding SFL is essential. Both roles have a requirement to work across established centres in Harrogate, Northallerton and Scarborough where professional teams will support and work with both new positions.
Ideally our client is looking for one candidate to specialise in SFL support and the other to specialise in motivational training and work experience support but they will consider applicants wishing to take on a more dual role if appropriate. Self-motivation, enthusiasm, a charismatic approach to your work, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and a willingness to support your client base are essential attributes for both posts. A car will be required for business use.
You don’t necessarily have to meet all of the specifications above as self-motivation, enthusiasm, a charismatic approach to your work, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and a willingness to support your client base are the most important attributes for this post.
Interviews for these roles will take place on or around the 11th of June 2008
