An industry-leading, multinational blue chip company are looking for a part-qualified accountant to join their distribution team at their head office in Hull.
Key duties will include:
Support to the Accountant in preparing KPI's to review stage
Forecasting and monitoring of line haul and freight costs
Collation and preparation of information for periodic and quarterly recharges
Analysis and monitoring of monthly warehouse and freight costs
Control and reconciliation of Euro and GBP stocks and purchases
Preparation of VAT returns
Completion of product profitability reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure preparation of monthly and quarterly Management Reporting data
Produce schedules for internal and external auditors
Assist in the budget process for the department
Assist Accountant with Sarbanes Oxley procedures
Ad hoc project work, including representation on project teams
This role is ideal for some with the drive to push the business processes forward and improve systems and therefore experience with SAP and Hyperion systems, and manufacturing or distribution industries is advantageous.
